The purpose is to gather a group of people to motivate each other through the couch to 5k program. We'll set a goal to meet at least twice a week at one of the area parks and run. We will slowly work up to run the Oak Alley 5K on March 25, 2012. The couch to 5k program is a beginners' running schedule created by Josh Clark and is a great way to get in shape! No former experience with running needed!
